Today is the start of the next four-year term for the Park Board Commissioners. The voters sent two incumbents and seven new people to the board. We are getting to know each other and there's a collegial and collaborative vibe. I am energized and ready to dig in! At 5PM today we will be sworn in, elect our leadership, and receive committee assignments.
I intend to use this website as a way to communicate, especially to reach people who do not use social media. I do not plan to repeat information that is available on the MPRB website and I hope to keep things short, sweet, and to the point. There will be puns and probably some typos but I hope there will also be information that is useful and engaging for the people of District 6. This is your park system and I represent you.
